Rocio Zapatero is a Senior International Business Strategy and Development Executive with extensive experience across financial and insurance services’ industries.

With a proven track record in developing and executing strategic investment and business development plans for global firms, investment holdings, and privately owned businesses worldwide, she specializes in driving business growth into new markets and segments.

Her functional expertise spans Corporate Strategy, International Business Development and bespoke Client Relationship Management. Recognized for her strategic thinking and financial expertise, honed over a successful international career in both large corporations and SMEs. 

Having been a small business owner herself in New York, she understands the entrepreneurial mindset and can align with the vision and goals of many Ari Financial clients and stakeholders alike.

During her time at ARI, Rocio has had the opportunity to work closely with our expert team at Miami headquarters, to establish and expand our business operations into Switzerland and Dubai, further solidifying ARI existing international presence in the US and Latin America. She has also led key initiatives to engage with global partners and clients, ensuring we maintain the high standard of personalized and expert service that ARI Financial Group, GmbH is well known for.

 Rocio started her career at Banco Santander in Corporate & Investment Banking roles and later moved to Telefónica as Director for Strategic Partnerships, based in New York. 

She holds an International Business degree from Erasmus University in the Netherlands and a Master's degree from IE Business School in Spain. She has also completed the Women on Boards Executive Certificate at Yale School of Management (YSOM).
